OUR CURRICULUM

All of our Maverick courses have two components: online didactic and an in-person lab. We do offer the online modules by themselves for many of our courses and those options are available for purchase here. Learn more about our courses below.

REGIONAL ANESTHESIA

Maverick Medical Education offers the only nerve block CE course with high-fidelity pulsatile cadaver training, allowing students to actually perform all blocks taught. We offer an Essentials course and an Advanced course in regional anesthesia.

POINT-OF-CARE ULTRASOUND

The ultrasound probe is the stethoscope of the future. This course teaches CRNAs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals the crucial skill of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) as an assessment tool.

"Most people need two things to climb the learning curve of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (UGRA): (1) tons of repetition in high fidelity simulation and (2) immediate feedback from experts. Most UGRA courses offer feedback from experts, but Maverick is the only company with pulsatile cadavers for their simulation. An attendee could easily perform 150 blocks on these life-like models in just two days. I'll return for their courses on POCUS and Advanced UGRA. Keep up the great work!"
