Sonosite’s first mission was to create an ultrasound machine that could be carried into battle and used to make time-critical medical decisions under the most grueling conditions imaginable. The concept was simple: get treatment to a trauma victim within the first 60 minutes of being injured by giving a frontline clinician an ultrasound machine that could easily be brought to the patient’s side. Designed in partnership with point-of-care clinicians, weighing less than 10 lbs. and built for the battlefield, the Sonosite 180 was born for the bedside.

Maverick has partnered with Sonosite to bring point-of-care ultrasound to any patient, anywhere, at any time possible.

Safersonic Ultrasound Probe Covers

Safersonic

Safersonic provides sterile transducer covers with an adhesive that eliminates the need for gel under the cover, preventing bubbles and wrinkles. The telescopic folding provides a latex-free, sterile application with no rubber bands, no artifacts, no gel at the transducers, and no glue remnants.

Partnering with Safersonic allows us to provide easily applied and sterile covers for our ultrasound equipment.

Block Buddy Pro

Block Buddy Pro is a mobile application that provides instruction on how to safely and effectively perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks. Simply put, Block Buddy is an incredible anesthesia resource. We specialize in and are focused on providing continuing education for ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks – saving patients unnecessary pain and saving you time and worry. 

Our app, Block Buddy Pro, is a mobile reference tool for anesthesia providers performing ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and point of care ultrasound (POCUS). The app contains video, detailed images, and descriptions for more than 20 different blocks, along with various other tools and resources. It’s like having your medical textbook with you wherever you go – only it’s easier to search and takes up a lot less space.
